This weekend I shot a wedding in Springfield, Illinois. I rented some extra equipment and Shawn came along for the ride. It was good to have him there when I needed things. I could have shot the wedding by myself, but I felt good to have someone there to help me out with all the small details of the day. He was there for support more than anything, but when he did have the camera, he captured some great moments from the day. I love looking at photographers blogs when they have images posted of them shooting. How cool is it that I now have a few pictures of me shooting? I’m excited.

I love the pictures of you shooting, you are too cute. I’m so glad you have a 2nd passion and you can totally have 2 passions teaching and photography for now. You are so great at both! Hope you had fun shooting the wedding and I bet Shawn loved being your “assistant”, haha. Take care girl, miss ya!
Katie, Shawn was a GREAT helper and we can not thank you enough for all the time you put/ are putting into capturing Josh and Meredith’s day. My Mom and I have both commented “we didnt take any pictures of josh and meredith…” I keep reassuring her Im positive you took plenty!!! Thanks so Much and Brett and I had a blast catching up with you guys later that night and hope to do it again soon.
